Abstract
Pour déterminer les priorités d'intervention en sécurité sur le réseau routier, l'analyse avantages-coûts constitue une méthode prometteuse. L'obtention de coûts associés aux typologies d'accident permet de réaliser une analyse significative. \n \nCette étude vise à améliorer la méthode de détermination des coûts des accidents selon la typologie utilisée au ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ). Une analyse statistique de la banque de données d'accidents du MTQ a été réalisée et des améliorations à la méthode actuelle sont proposées. \n \nDes coûts moyens selon la typologie d'accident ont été calculés à partir de la méthode améliorée pour les méthodes d'évaluation des coûts du capital humain et de la disposition à payer. Les coûts ont été vérifiés pour la méthode du capital humain. Les coûts résultant des calculs utilisant la méthodologie améliorée permettront d'obtenir des résultats plus représentatifs lors des analyses économiques de sécurité des infrastructures routières. Des études de cas sont présentées.
