Trabajador social y especialista en Teorias, metodos y tecnicas de investigacion social de la Universidad del Valle, Cali - Colombia. Se ha desempenado como Profesional Universitario Forense en el Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses, en temas como violencia familiar, maltrato infantil, delitos sexuales, y atencion a familiares de personas victimas de violencia fatal o desaparicion comun y forzada. Catedratico de la Fundacion Universitaria San Martin, sede Cali, en el programa de Medicina, area de Investigacion Cientifica. Integrante del Grupo de Investigacion en Salud Publica –Gisap–, y consultor en derechos humanos y violencia familiar y sexual para la Secretaria de Salud Publica Municipal de Cali, el Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar, la Universidad San Buenaventura de Cali, y El Fondo de Poblaciones de las Naciones Unidas, programa Violencia de Genero. Desde el ano 1998, a partir de su practica profesional en el Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses, ha contribuido al desarrollo del trabajo social en el campo forense, abriendo nuevos campos de intervencion a dichos profesionales en el sistema de justicia colombiano. Ofrece a organismos estatales cursos y programas de capacitacion y entrenamiento en peritaje social.
