Abstract
La présence des élèves handicapés à l'école fait l'objet de débats chargés d'émotion dans le monde de l'éducation, entre les tenants d'une intégration scolaire en classe régulière et ceux qui préconisent la classe spéciale, ou encore l'école spéciale. Les auteurs illustrent l'état de l'intégration des élèves handicapés en classe régulière en examinant l'évolution d'un indicateur d'intégration scolaire au cours des dix dernières années scolaires. Une légère tendance à la hausse semble s'être profilée au cours des années. Les différences entre les niveaux d'enseignement indiquent que plus les apprentissages deviennent importants moins les élèves handicapés sont intégrés. La nature des déficiences des élèves implique également des différencesimportantes quant à l'intégration en classe régulière.
