Abstract
Sorti avant les ftes de fin d'anne, sous un titre en apparence banal, bnficiant d'une belle prsentation matrielle dans laquelle abondent les illustrations polychromes, le tout prix encore accessible, cet ouvrage, a vocation, comme d'autres en leur temps, rencontrer son public, le sduire et mieux encore -esprons-le ! - le convaincre. Mais au premier abord, l'ouvrage droute. Ni compltement un beau-livre d'art grand public, ni exclusivement un manuel universitaire stricto sensu, pas plus un essai programmatique et pas totalement un vade-mecum de l'apprenti chercheur, qu'est-ce donc que ce livre qui se joue des normes traditionnelles de l'dition ? Parce qu'il est tout cela la fois, cet ouvrage est une russite ditoriale.
