Abstract
Au terme de deux recherches et à la lumière de nombreuses interventions, l’auteure suggère quelques repères permettant de mieux comprendre le phénomène des violences organisationnelle et hiérarchique. Issus d’une première recherche collective, une typologie de la violence selon deux axes ainsi que quatre scénarios organisationnels aident à saisir le phénomène en termes descriptifs. L’auteure propose ensuite une perspective conceptuelle situant l’objet de ses recherches dans une vision globale et suggérant une définition opérationnelle qu’elle explicite et illustre. Enfin, rendant compte d’une deuxième recherche, des ancrages organisationnels, individuels et sociaux des violences organisationnelle et hiérarchique sont présentés. Ces ancrages permettent de mieux comprendre pourquoi les situations de violence sont davantage susceptibles d’émerger ou de se développer dans certains milieux de travail alors que d’autres arrivent mieux à les contenir ou à les contrer.
