Nous analysons la mobilite intergenerationnelle du niveau de scolarite des hommes et des femmes canadiens nes d'immigrants. Nous tracons un portrait detaille des Canadiens et nous fournissons des estimations du degre de mobilite intergenerationnelle chez les enfants d'immigrants. La persistance intergenerationnelle du nombre d'annees de scolarite est assez faible entre les immigrants et leurs enfants nes au Canada, se situant au tiers de celle de la population en general. Les gains des parents ne sont pas correles avec les annees de scolarite pour les enfants de deuxieme generation, ou encore comportent une correlation negative. Enfin, nous determinons que la transmission intergenerationnelle du niveau de scolarite n'a pas change pour les cohortes de naissance de la periode d'apres guerre.
