Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The decays ${B}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{(*)+}{D}_{s}^{(*)\ensuremath{-}}$ are reconstructed in a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $6.8\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ collected by the CDF II detector at the Tevatron $p\overline{p}$ collider. All decay modes are observed with a significance of more than $10\ensuremath{\sigma}$, and we measure the ${B}_{s}^{0}$ production rate times ${B}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{(*)+}{D}_{s}^{(*)\ensuremath{-}}$ branching ratios relative to the normalization mode ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{+}{D}^{\ensuremath{-}}$to be $0.183\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.021\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.017$ for ${B}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{+}{D}_{s}^{\ensuremath{-}}$, $0.424\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.046\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.035$ for ${B}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{*\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}{D}_{s}^{\ensuremath{\mp}}$, $0.654\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.072\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.065$ for ${B}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{*+}{D}_{s}^{*\ensuremath{-}}$, and $1.261\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.095\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.112$ for the inclusive decay ${B}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{D}_{s}^{(*)+}{D}_{s}^{(*)\ensuremath{-}}$, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic. These results are the most precise single measurements to date and provide important constraints for indirect searches for nonstandard model physics in ${B}_{s}^{0}$ mixing.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
