L’auteur se penche sur l’histoire, qui reste encore à écrire, de Musique en jeu , la revue française mythique des années 1970, qui est un modèle explicite pour la revue Circuit . Cet article livre des propos tirés d’entretiens réalisés à l’occasion d’une rencontre publique sur le passé et l’avenir des revues musicales avec deux des fondateurs de Musique en jeu : son principal animateur, Dominique Jameux, ainsi que l’un de ses collaborateurs notables, Jean-Pierre Derrien. Sont esquissés des détails sur la naissance de la revue de même que sur son évolution au cours de la décennie.
