Recovering images from partial information using Delta /sup 2/G filtering
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The recovery of an image from partial information through the use of Delta /sup 2/G filtering is discussed. A technique is developed for the recovery of a Delta /sup 2/G filtered image from partial information, based only on contrast figure estimates taken at the sampled Delta /sup 2/G filtered image zero crossings. A practical method is developed for estimating an edge contrast figure at each zero-crossing sample and for recovering the Delta /sup 2/G filtered image from these zero-crossing sample values. This technique does not involve the solution of simultaneous equations, and therefore avoids the numerical problems often faced with such an approach. Further, this technique does not involve iteration, and therefore avoids the convergence problems and large number of computations often incurred by techniques which use iteration. Good image reconstruction is demonstrated, with the zero-crossing samples localized only to the original image sample grid.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
