A en croire une étude canadienne, la fraude interne amputerait de 5% le chiffre d’affaires des entreprises. Si le contrôle interne est la voie privilégiée pour s’en protéger, Anne Sachet-Milliat défend ici l’idée qu’un management éthique de la part de l’entreprise réduit également l’ampleur de la fraude commise par les salariés. Une thèse inspirée par la sociologie du crime américaine qui insiste sur la pression, intentionnelle ou non, de l’organisation sur le comportement des salariés qui la composent. L’auteur avance alors des solutions de management devant permettre de prévenir la fraude au sein des entreprises : des techniques de recrutement éthiques, une sensibilisation accrue des salariés autour des chartes éthiques, une politique de rémunération équitable ou encore la création d’une fonction conformité sociale chargée de contrôler l’application des normes éthiques au sein de l’entreprise. Une démonstration convaincante que l’éthique d’entreprise peut servir les intérêts de la Sûreté.
