Abstract
Des recherches menées respectivement sur la persévérance des enseignants experts, novices et stagiaires ainsi que sur l’accompagnement et la reconnaissance professionnelle des stagiaires par les superviseurs, permettent de dresser un inventaire des différents facteurs influençant la persévérance des stagiaires. L’analyse croisée de ces différentes données issues de verbatim d’entretiens et de groupes de discussions montre qu’un accompagnement axé sur le développement de la confiance en soi et le sentiment d’autoefficacité est susceptible de diminuer les échecs et les abandons chez les stagiaires et par conséquent d’accroître leur plaisir et leur persévérance dans leur formation et en insertion professionnelle. Des pistes de réflexions sont suggérées en guise de conclusion.
