Abstract
Les entrepôts sont des éléments essentiels des systèmes de production et de distribution. Leur multiplication dans les espaces périurbains est un facteur de développement économique mais aussi de diffusion des nuisances du système routier de marchandises. Les collectivités territoriales se posent alors la question de l’aménagement des territoires de la logistique. L’article met en évidence les logiques actuelles des implantations d’entrepôts. Elles s’expliquent par des enjeux de réseaux portés par les acteurs du transport et de la logistique et qui se traduisent par des localisations opportunistes, voire éphémères. Mais les enjeux territoriaux, du ressort principalement des collectivités locales, prennent de l’importance. Cette maîtrise territoriale pourrait devenir à l’avenir un facteur essentiel de la régulation des implantations logistiques.
