Abstract
본 논문에서는 캐나다 중서부에 위치한 BC(British Columbia)주 및 AB(Alberta)주의 수용가 전력설비에 대한 전기안전 시스템에 대해 고찰하였다. 캐나다의 전기안전은 주정부 권한을 위임받은 안전청에서 담당하여, 세부적인 안전관리는 각 주마다 절차 상 약간의 차이는 있었지만, 전체적으로는 전기안전이라는 큰 틀 안에서 동일한 맥락으로 통제되고 있었다. 또한, 국내에 비해 전기안전 교육 프로그램 및 홍보가 상당히 강화되어 있음을 알 수 있었다.
