Abstract
Desde hace algunos decenios se observan diversas iniciativas, alentadas con frecuencia por el Consejo Pontificio para la Cultura, en el campo de la pastoral de la inteligencia o de la cultura. Podemos interrogarnos sobre el fundamento de esas propuestas y sobre el papel que la universidad catolica desempena en tal campo. En este texto intentare establecer la genesis de esta preocupacion e indicar un poco el metodo que puede tomar tal dialogo y el rol que puede tener al respecto la universidad catolica.
