Impact d'une recherche active d'information vaccinale chez les enfants ayant un carnet de vaccination incomplet ou chez ceux qui l'ont perdu

Abstract
Nous avons estime l'exactitude de l'information contenue dans le carnet de vaccination de 8 457 enfants. Les carnets ont ete classes selon qu'ils etaient complet (CC), incomplet(CI) ou perdu (CP). Pour les enfants avec CI ou CP, une recherche extensive a ete faite aupres des vaccinateurs et nous avons estime la couverture vaccinale chez ceux-ci. Au total, parmi les 7 646 enfants ayant recu au moins une dose de vaccin, le carnet a fourni une information exacte pour 88,6 %. Parmi les 711 enfants avec CI, la recherche active a revele que 79 % avaient recu a deux ans tous les vaccins recommandes alors que cette proportion etait de 59 % pour les 280 enfants avec CP. La recherche active a augmente la couverture vaccinale globale a deux ans de 4 %. Conclusion : La majorite des enfants avec Cl ou CP dont les parents disent qu'ils ont recu tous leurs vaccins sont reellement adequatement vaccines.
