L’étude des littératures francophones et québécoise dans les universités écossaises

Abstract
Si l’émergence des études québécoises en Écosse s’avère lente, la situation actuelle - tant aux niveaux politique et culturel en général que dans le domaine universitaire - témoigne pourtant d’un intérêt grandissant pour la littérature et la culture québécoises. Dans cet article, c’est notamment le statut de la littérature québécoise à l’intérieur des différents programmes d’enseignement universitaire qui sera examiné. Pour ce faire, la distinction entre les cycles respectifs sera prise en compte et une attention particulière sera accordée aux recherches actuelles dans le domaine. Cette analyse suggère que l’exploitation des réseaux de collaboration existants entre les institutions nationales et internationales et l’intensification des formes de collaboration entre les universités écossaises pourraient mener à une intégration plus structurée des sujets reliés au Québec au sein des programmes.
