Abstract
<div>Este trabajo indaga sobre la figura de los “hechiceros” guaycurúes del Gran Chaco meridional mencionados en las fuentes jesuitas del siglo xviii. El doble objetivo es acercarnos al sistema chamánico de estos grupos chaqueños y discutir los conceptos de chamanismo y brujería en estas sociedades. Para ello se analizan las obras de Martín Dobrizhoffer, Florián Paucke, José Sánchez Labrador y José Jolís.</div>
