Abstract
Une relecture des enquêtes marquantes des années 1990 sur les jeunes et la religion au Québec, principalement la recherche de Jacques Grand’Maison et de son équipe, fournit l’occasion d’une discussion non seulement sur l’évolution de la religion chez les jeunes depuis vingt ans, mais surtout sur les défis épistémologiques et théoriques auxquels est confrontée la recherche. Alors que les théories de la sécularisation s’épuisent, comment penser le religieux chez les jeunes autrement que par une rupture à l’égard de la religion qui, en fait, n’est pas la leur ?
