Abstract
Dans de nombreux pays, les milieux scolaires font face à de grands défis d’intégration des élèves nouvellement arrivés ou issus de l’immigration. Au coeur de ces défis se situe celui du choix des modèles de services à offrir à ces élèves dont la langue d’origine n’est pas celle de l’institution d’accueil. Le but de cet article sera de présenter les résultats d’une enquête portant sur les modèles de services de soutien à l’intégration mis en place à l’intérieur de l’école publique québécoise dans la région du Grand Montréal ou ailleurs à Québec et en région, et de rendre compte de la manière dont des intervenants appartenant à des milieux différents soutiennent, en faisant pourtant appel à une argumentation similaire, le choix de modèles de services distincts pour assurer la réussite de l’intégration.
