L’auteure presente ici deux processus de patrimonialisations etudies au Bresil suivis de quelques observations sur leurs repercussions. Le premier processus s’inscrit dans une volonte politique et vise a accorder des conditions et un statut particuliers a une pratique traditionnelle artistique, tandis que le second propose une appropriation du patrimoine culturel et artistique afro-bresilien dans un objectif de developpement culturel et social. A l’inverse de l’approche politique du patrimoine, l’auteure montre ici qu’une conception vivante et dynamique du patrimoine culturel vivant vient davantage rejoindre l’individu au sein du collectif en mettant notamment de l’avant la singularite du patrimoine.
