We present a case study of Field Line Resonances (FLRs) in the dayside magnetosphere, observed in both electric and magnetic field components at multiple L ‐shells near the equator. The event measured by the five THEMIS probes and the nearby GOES and Geotail satellites provides a unique opportunity to differentiate between temporal and spatial characteristics of FLRs. Narrow‐band FLRs were excited globally at different frequencies matching the local field line resonant frequency. In conjunction with a sharp increase in the upstream solar wind density, prompt intensification of the FLR power was observed at different L ‐shells, simultaneously at different frequencies and amplitudes.
