Abstract
La photographie est utilisée ici comme matériau permettant une approche des rapports symboliques qui se construisent au moment du mariage. Rituel au coeur du rituel, la séance de photographie raconte une histoire idéalisée du couple et de leurs relations familiales. Derrière cette mise en scène, nous décelons les conceptions communes et les valeurs qui structurent les rapports sociaux. Le choix du mariage ritualisé à la fin du XX e siècle montre que, même s’ils se sont libérés de l’autorité parentale, les jeunes ont intériorisé les normes qui structurent la conjugalité et la filiation.
