"Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar um ponto cego nos debates em torno da regulamentação da publicidade no Brasil, sobretudo aquela direcionada a crianças. São aqui observados e discutidos casos como da regulamentação da publicidade de produtos infantis, bebidas alcoólicas, cigarro e alimentos que causam obesidade. Para tanto, foi feito um estudo comparativo entre o modelo de auto-regulamentação acompanhada existente no Canadá/Québec e o de auto-regulamentação de cartel existente no Brasil. Ao final do artigo são sugeridas propostas de políticas publicas para o setor."
