Abstract
Depuis 2009, l’Ile Maurice a mis en place un marché de la RSE destiné à financer la lutte contre la pauvreté. Ce marché est contrôlé et administré par le NCSRC qui joue le rôle d’intermédiaire entre les entreprises et les ONG. Le fonctionnement actuel du marché pose néanmoins trois problèmes majeurs. Premièrement, les ONG ne bénéficient que peu du financement RSE des entreprises. Deuxièmement, les projets sont financés sur des bases communautaires et confessionnelles qui pourraient créer de vives tensions intercommunautaires. Troisièmement, l’imbrication des partis politiques dans la vie des ONG détourne le travail social envers des visées électoralistes.
