Abstract
En este trabajo se plantea que, debido a la rapidez con que se suscitan los acontecimientos, el tiempo de la Historia se ha precipitado y caído, de modo tal que sus sedimentos lentifican o inmovilizan lo que se ha denominado progreso. Sobre este orden de cosas, la literatura y el arte dan testimonio de acontecimientos que precisan ser descritos en términos sociopolíticos, etnofenomenológicos y semioestéticos que a la vez representan su propio “fuera de tiempo” y, al hacerlo, saca al tiempo de la Historia de su curso acelerado. Este planteamiento se ilustra mediante el análisis de la novela Éden, Éden, Éden de Pierre Guyotat, la cual contradice toda lógica causal y disuelve toda jerarquía a través de ciertos recursos discursivos.
