Abstract
Esta breve nota comenta los resultados del informe Cultura politica de la democracia en Colombia y en las Americas, 2012: Hacia la igualdad de oportunidades, que sintetiza los principales resultados de la encuesta LAPOP-Barometro de las Americas, ola 2012, para Colombia. Esta encuesta, que se realiza regularmente en toda la region, incluyendo Canada y Estados Unidos, constituye una fuente riquisima de informacion que uso habitualmente en mis clases y que empece hace poco a usar en mi investigacion. Me parece ademas una fuente importante de datos para la toma de decisiones. El tema de este ano, desigualdad, discriminacion y marginacion, me parecio particularmente interesante y relevante principalmente para un pais como Colombia.
