Abstract
Objetivo: Analisar as relações interprofissionais na Marinha do Brasil (MB) no período de 1980 a 1997. Métodos: Pesquisa histórico-social com base em documentos escritos e entrevistas com oito oficiais enfermeiras, que pertenceram ao Corpo Auxiliar Feminino da Reserva da Marinha (CAFRM). Resultados: A análise temática dos dados resultou em duas categorias: O início de tudo: as enfermeiras civis e suas relações com as enfermeiras militares; e Relações interpessoais na MB: do mais antigo ao mais moderno. Conclusão: Concluiu-se que o processo de feminização na MB sempre esteve imbricado nas disputas pelo poder, tanto com as enfermeiras civis quanto com os demais membros da corporação. E que o respeito e o reconhecimento das enfermeiras, em todos os círculos hierárquicos, só foram alcançados, eficazmente, porque as militares incorporaram os pressupostos da instituição.
