Cet article cherche à analyser les changements par lesquels la RTP2 portugaise est passée durant la dernière décennie, afin de déterminer si la question d’une culture télévisuelle de qualité est une simple proposition rhétorique ou se sent véritablement dans l’offre de programmation de la chaîne. Prenant en compte la complexité de la discussion de la qualité à la télévision, cette approche se concentre sur l’analyse des relations entre la législation et le comportement de la chaîne par rapport à son image de marque et son identité communicationnelle ainsi que sa programmation.
