Abstract
Sociétés multiculturelles de fait, le Québec et l’Allemagne cherchent à accommoder le fait du pluralisme issu de l’immigration. Cette contribution propose une analyse comparative des débats québécois et allemand en matière d’immigration et d’intégration, et met en évidence l’aspect de l’intégration au sein d’une culture sociétale commune. Cette notion de culture sociétale est-elle conçue juridiquement ou socioculturellement? Renvoie-t-elle à une identité nationale, dont la conception serait ouverte aux individus et aux groupes d’origines diverses? À l’aide des voies que nous esquisse le débat en philosophie politique, il s’agit d’examiner les principes des politiques québécoises et à analyser les principales pistes que dessine le débat actuel en Allemagne, de façon à indiquer dans quelle mesure ces débats pourraient s’enrichir mutuellement.
