Abstract
Desde que el 24 de julio de 1967 el general De Gaulle anadiera a su Vive le Quebecel epiteto libre, han sido muchos los ojos que han fijado su atencion en Canada y en la provincia francofona de dicha Federacion, siendo objeto de numerosos estudios las vicisitudes que desde entonces se han producido. En nuestros dias, la cuestion vuelve a estar de actualidad en otras latitudes a proposito del referendum escoces de inde pendencia previsto para 2014, asi como en relacion con determinadas po siciones que en otros paises, como Espana, abogan por recorrer un camino semejante.
