Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract The classification of lung carcinoma in TNM‐7 has had major changes. These were based on a retrospective study of over 80,000 cases carried out by a committee of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) working closely with the UICC and AJCC. The lung classification provides a single scheme applicable to all histological types of lung carcinoma and is also applicable for carcinoids. There are important changes in the T3, T4, and M categories as well as in stage grouping. For example, T3: separate nodule(s) in same lobe (was T4 in TNM 6) T4: separate tumour nodule(s) in a different ipsilateral lobe (was M1 in TNM 6) M1a: malignant pleural or pericardial effusion (was T4 in TNM 6)

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Teacher imitation

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
