Abstract
O artigo visa analisar os trânsitos políticos e culturais desencadeados pela chamada Revolução Tranquila ocorrida nos anos 1960 na província do Quebec e que tiveram como consequência a ruptura radical com um sistema social de base tradicional sob a tutela da Igreja Católica, levando a sociedade a se repensar em termos identitários e a promover uma ampla tomada de consciência sobre sua pertença à América e sobre a necessidade de afirmação de uma especificidade quebequense. Destaca-se, de um lado, o papel de Gaston Miron como um dos principais artífices que desenhou uma nova cartografia literária do Quebec francófono e, de outro, o revival desse período realizado pelo filme C.R.A.Z.Y., de 2005, do cineasta quebequense Jean-Marc Vallée. O filme homenageia a Revolução Tranquila ao sublinhar as mobilidades culturais entre as gerações no Quebec dos anos 1960, os deslocamentos do personagem entre o Canadá e Israel e as passagens da tradição para a modernidade.
