Abstract
El eje de la investigación es la diseminación del conocimiento científico a través de las publicaciones académicas Comunicación y Sociedad del Departamento de Estudios de Comunicación Social de la Universidad de Guadalajara, Estudios sobre las Culturas Contemporáneas del Programa Cultura de la Universidad de Colima y Versión, estudios de comunicación y política del Departamento de Educación y Comunicación de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana – Xochimilco. Específicamente se analizan cuantitativamente los artículos publicados en ellas por investigadores adscritos a las instituciones editoras. El objetivo es conocer, a nivel descriptivo, cómo es que en estas publicaciones se reproducen rasgos del campo académico de la investigación de la comunicación en México.
