Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Modeling and simulation are used to evaluate the real-time performance of software applications in telecommunications networks. The methodology has been used to support the development of Northern Telecom's Dynamic Network Controller (DNC) family of products. The approach has been used to model several large software applications, namely, the Transport Services Management (TSM) and the Business Network Management (BNM) products. The results allow the performance impact on future configurations and demands to be evaluated at early stages, thereby assisting the design process. A major saving in the modeling effort results from the use of a common DNC-based model in these two applications.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
