Abstract
Cet article s'efforce de mettre en lumière la lame de fond discursive sur laquelle se déploie la postmodernité ainsi que de tracer un bilan critique de ses trois grandes expressions sociologiques actuelles. La postmodernité étant une critique à bien des égards valable de la version classique de la modernité mais un projet insuffisant de reconstruction, la derniiîre partie est consacrée à l'esquisse d'une possible reconstitution de l'idée du social.
