Meme si l’ensemble des etudes demontre qu’il est benefique d’inclure la ou le partenaire de la personne abusant de substances psychoactives dans le traitement de cette dependance, la therapie conjugale est encore peu utilisee dans les centres de traitement pour personnes alcooliques ou toxicomanes. Par cet article, nous souhaitons favoriser une meilleure diffusion des connaissances sur les relations entre la vie conjugale et l’abus de substances et sur le traitement de cette problematique a l’aide d’une modalite conjugale. Les obstacles rencontres par les cliniques dans l’implantation de l’intervention conjugale sont discutees et des solutions sont proposees.
