Abstract
Depuis presque vingt ans, le « féminisme autonome » latino-américain et des Caraïbes, courant minoritaire mais actif, oblige au débat et propose d’importantes analyses qui renouvellent et approfondissent celles du féminisme dominant. Partant de la critique du rôle des institutions internationales, Organisation des Nations unies (ONU) en tête, dans la domestication du féminisme et la mise en place des politiques néolibérales, ce courant, où un certain nombre de lesbiennes féministes amérindiennes et afrodescendantes jouent un rôle très important, débouche sur une analyse novatrice de l’imbrication des rapports sociaux de sexe, de classe et de « race », ainsi que du rôle dépolitisant du concept de genre.
