À partir de quelques parcours biographiques de vocation d’hommes de Dieu inscrits dans la mouvance d’une religion prophétique africaine, cet article illustre la manière dont les visions et les songes encouragent et accompagnent les passages de frontières et les parcours migratoires des individus et par là même le mouvement de transnationalisation des religions africaines. La dimension rhétorique des prévisions prophétiques et des révélations visionnaires ne peut être ignorée au regard des contraintes et des opportunités des trajectoires migratoires mais l’idée est que la migration des individus et leurs entreprises religieuses fonctionnent à l’imaginaire autant qu’au réel des lois du marché du travail, ne serait-ce que parce que l’offre de biens imaginaires (visions, guérisons, miracles) fait partie des enjeux du voyage et des échanges.
