Abstract
O professor Carlos Arthur Ribeiro do Nascimento, que nos concedeu, por e-mail, a entrevista que segue, é um dos pioneiros no estudo da filosofia medieval no Brasil, tendo sido provavelmente o primeiro brasileiro a obter um doutorado na área (PhD Sciences Médiévales), realizado no Instituto de Estudos Medievais da Universidade de Montreal no Canadá. Antes e depois desse doutorado, ele trabalhou em diversas instituições no Brasil, atuando em várias disciplinas filosóficas e, eventualmente, aprimorando o seu conhecimento da filosofia medieval. Foi professor no Studium Generale da Província Dominicana Santo Tomás de Aquino, no Brasil, na Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC) de São Paulo, na UNESP, campus de Assis e Marília e se aposentou como professor titular na UNICAMP, mas continua na "ativa", trabalhando novamente na PUC de São Paulo.
