Abstract
O trabalho analisa os cenarios das minisseries O Tempo e o Vento (Rede Globo,1985) e A Casa das Sete Mulheres (Rede Globo, 2003), com o objetivo de identificar de que maneira o imaginario presente nas obras literarias sobre os modos de habitar no periodo da Revolucao Farroupilha se traduz na producao audiovisual. Em programas televisivos de carater historico, o cenario apresentado torna-se, em geral, fonte de referencia para a grande maioria dos telespectadores a respeito da epoca narrada. Torna-se, portanto, relevante refletir a respeito de como a representacao de residencias de epocas passadas e construida pela midia televisiva, principalmente em programas de exibicao nacional e com altos indices de audiencia, procurando identificar qual a participacao de documentos historicos como fontes de pesquisa para a construcao dos cenarios. As referencias teoricas fundamentam-se em conceitos da Teoria da Interpretacao, de Paul Ricoeur, bem como em nocoes de ambiencia, de Jean Baudrillard e de cenario televisivo, de Joao Batista Cardoso. Faz-se uma analise comparativa entre os cenarios das duas minisseries, tendo como recorte temporal o periodo da Revolucao Farroupilha (1835-1845 Os cenarios sao analisados a luz das obras literarias de Erico Verissimo e Leticia Wierchowski e comparados com documentos historicos, como plantas das residencias da epoca, alem de testamentos e inventarios do periodo estudado. Palavras-chave: Cenario; Minisserie televisiva; Memoria; Comunicacao Abstract The paper analyzes the mini-series “ O Tempo e o Vento” (Time and the Wind, Rede Globo,1985) and “A Casa das Sete Mulheres” (The House of the Seven Women, Rede Globo, 2003), aiming to identify how fiction present in literature portraying the types of dwelling existing during the period of “Revolucao Farroupilha ” (The War of the Farrapos, farrapos meaning tatters, rags) is translated into an audiovisual production. Within historical television programs, the scenario becomes, in general, source of reference for the vast majority of viewers with respect of the time narrated. Therefore, it becomes relevant to reflect on how the representation of past times households is depicted by the television media, mainly on national television programs and with high ratings of audience, trying to identify what is the participation of historical documents as source of research when building the scenarios. References are based on theoretical concepts of the Theory of Interpretation, of Paul Ricoeur, as well as on notions of ambience, of Jean Baudrillard and of television scenery, of Joao Batista Cardoso. It makes a comparative analysis between the scenarios of the two mini-series, having as time window the period of “Revolucao Farroupilha ”(1835-1845): the scenarios are analyzed under the light of the literature of Erico Verissimo and Leticia Wierchowski, and compared with historical documents, like household blueprints of the period, besides of wills and inventories of the period studied.
