Abstract
Abstract The decision to establish European Environment Agency (EEA) was made by the European Union in 1990 and it began its work in earnest in 1994. Its objective is to provide for decision‐makers and the public sound and independent information on the environment. It has a total of 32 member countries and 7 cooperating countries.
