Abstract
José Santugini debe su reputación a su prolongada colaboración como guionista con el director Ladislao Vajda durante los años cincuenta. Probablemente, antes de la aparición de Rafael Azcona, fuera el escritor cinematográfico más prestigioso de su generación. Pero, además, Santugini es autor de una nutrida producción humorística, fraguada en el primer tercio del pasado siglo, que nunca llegó a publicarse en forma de libro lo que le convierte en un integrante clandestino del "otro 27".
