Abstract
This synthesis chapter covers the general principles of management for OAB. After a review of the different techniques and treatment options for the initial management of the condition, the main core of the chapter is about patients who do not respond well to initial therapy. The author proposes seven golden rules, which may lead to a better understanding of the condition and effective treatment options for this particularly challenging group of patients.
