Abstract
Nous décrivons les comportements et les interactions que suscite l’introduction d’un dispositif de messagerie instantanée au sein de deux firmes canadiennes. Notre travail inductif nous permet de saisir l’émergence d’un nouveau genre communicationnel appelé « questions rapides ». Celles-ci constituent un véhicule privilégié pour réaffirmer des liens interpersonnels et de solidarité professionnelle dans un cadre de communication à distance. Le développement de ces formes de coopération fondées sur des « questions rapides » articule de manière originale travail prescrit et travail réel, accomplissement des objectifs et réseaux d’entraide. Il est au cœur de l’économie morale des organisations contemporaines fortement connectées.
