Abstract
L’etude a debute en aout 1998 mais a ete arretee en fevrier 1999 puisque la FDA a ordonne a la compagnie de retirer tous ses medicaments (incluant le 17-P) en raison d’un controle de la qualite discutable. Cent cinquante femmes avaient ete recrutees a ce moment-la mais les donnees n’avaient pas ete analysees. L’etude a ete recommencee avec le medicament et le placebo fournis par une autre compagnie (Eminent Services); les donnees recueillies auparavant n’ont pas ete incluses dans l’analyse finale.
