Abstract
There are currently very few center-based daily hemodialysis programs. The reason is obvious as one examines its financial impact to the provider. Daily hemodialysis performed in the center is prohibitively expensive unless the dialysis provider is reimbursed for the additional treatment costs, which they are not in most countries.
