Isolated posterolateral corner injury is rare, and usually these injuries occur in conjunction with disruption of 1 or both cruciate ligaments. Due to the scarcity of this injury and the heterogeneity of knee multiligament injury, there is a paucity of high quality evidence. Consequently, adopting an evidenced based approach in the management of these injuries can pose a considerable challenge. In this chapter we have endeavoured to analyse and distil the best available evidence to help answer some of the pressing questions that clinicians face in the management of this rare and complex injury.
