Abstract
Les productions localisées sont spécifiques à des lieux, à des ressources et à des savoir-faire. Ces productions évoluent dans un contexte dynamique, car il s’agit souvent d’être à la fois implantées localement, dans un territoire donné, et de répondre aux attentes des marchés mondiaux. Dans le cadre de cet article, nous nous intéressons aux phénomènes de (ré)appropriation des savoirs et savoir-faire dans le cadre d’une production localisée sud-africaine : la tisane rooibos (thé rouge). La production de rooibos est associée à différents types de savoirs : elle nécessite notamment l’ingéniosité des producteurs afrikaner et le savoir‑faire des ouvriers métis, ce qui participe à en faire un patrimoine culturel local et national. La ressource et les savoirs qui y sont associés deviennent ainsi, au-delà des enjeux économiques, un enjeu politique.
