Abstract
Sous le mode de l'essai, ce texte formule un cadre psychosociologique d'analyse qui permettrait éventuellement des études monographiques du phénomène de contestation étudiante en milieu universitaire. Prenant comme point de référence une contestation ayant eu lieu au Département de sociologie de l'Université de Montréal, l'auteur organise ses réflexions autour de certaines dimensions comme celles du pouvoir et de l'appartenance et autour de certains thèmes comme les enjeux sociaux, culturels ou économiques de la société, les processus organisationnels d'un mouvement de contestation, le jeu des principaux groupes d'acteurs en cause, la diversité des critères d'évaluation ou d'analyse de ce genre de mouvements sociaux. Une attention particulière est portée à l'interaction entre ces divers thèmes et ces diverses dimensions.
