Abstract
O Mathemolhes é um ambiente virtual de aprendizagem (AVA), que propõe a construção de conhecimentos e conceitos matemáticos e ambientais, o desenvolvimento do pensamento lógico- matemático e a ampliação da consciência ambiental, a partir da exploração e problematização de situações problemas contextualizadas em uma realidade local envolvendo a preservação e o cuidado com o ambiente costeiro. No ambiente virtual, encontram-se jogos, desafios, curiosidades e atividades em torno de questões ambientais e matemáticas inseridas em um cenário real que é a orla da Praia do Cassino (Brasil, Rio Grande/RS). As situações problemas trazem dados e informações estatísticas, geográficas e culturais atuais, com ênfase no ambiente local, instigando os alunos a refletirem suas práticas e buscarem possíveis soluções que utilizam a lógica matemática conduzindo a abstração dos conceitos. Esse artigo traz a análise de interações ocorridas nos diferentes espaços do Mathemolhes, mostrando as percepções das professoras acerca das potencialidades pedagógicas desse ambiente para trabalhar conceitos da Matemática. A discussão é realizada pela articulação das falas das professoras com a teoria que balizam esse estudo, na intenção de compreender as potencialidades a partir das práticas pedagógicas vivenciadas por esse coletivo de professoras.
